Christmas 2023 Trends & How I’m Decorating

I have been looking at a lot of Christmas decor this year so I thought it would be fun to share some inspiration I have been grabbing for Christmas 2023. I put together a collage of all of the materials, patterns, and pictures that I am especially loving this year. This Christmas I am loving all the wine velvets, bows, vintage wrapping paper, etched glass, vintage ornaments, and tinsel. I believe we will continue to see tinsel, glass ornaments, and the wine color trending in years to come. I have been loving all the deep burgundy colors lately, and many have predicted that it will be a trending color in the design world in 2024.

One of my favorite things I used to decorate this year were these one-of-a-kind vintage ornaments. Sourcing vintage is a big part of my design philosophy. I love to source vintage because you can find unique things that are different from what everyone else has. Not to mention its sustainability benefit. I also decorated my tree with tinsel, etched glass ornaments, mini silver ornaments, and some block-printed ornaments. This year I wanted to find some block print wrapping paper that had a deep wine color to tie in with the burgundy ornaments I had on my tree. When I found this wrapping paper I knew it would go perfectly! I’ll link some of my Christmas decor below so you can shop it.
