Virtual Design Projects from This Fall
I wanted to pull back the curtain a bit and show you some fun virtual design projects I have been working on. My Virtual Design Service is a good fit for someone who needs design help but is confident in executing the design, ordering and installing themselves. This is also a great service for those who need design help but do not have a large budget for buying everything at once. For the purpose of budget flexibility, clients will often want me to design multiple rooms at once so they will all be finished and look cohesive. They will then carryout the purchasing and install when budget and time allow.
With my virtual design service, the deliverables include: 1) Design elevations, similar to the slides here but they are more in-depth. The slides I included are only a portion of the overall design presentation I deliver. 2) A detailed shopping list that includes each item, the finish, color, quantity, size, and a link. 3) A floorplan of the room including the furniture, rug, and lamp placement. I like to have this laid out for clients because it relieves a lot of stress.
As far as timeline for virtual design- it’s a pretty quick turn around time depending on how large of a space you are wanting designed. I typically say it takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks after the day the design concept is approved.
