Fall 2023 Design Inspiration & Our New House

When this time of year rolls around, it makes me want to make my home more cozy & curl up on the sofa. This fall season I am obsessing over earthy moody colors like brown, dark greens, and deep wine colors. I am loving etched glassware & velvets this season too.

We just moved into our first house in September & so the past couple of months have been spent putting furniture together, designing & redesigning our space alongside work. I always tell people designing is so much harder when it is your own space, and wow it is so true! Here are a few of my favorite rooms I designed for the house:

During our first week living in our new house, we painted all the cabinetry and replaced all the hardware. Previously it was a dark wood knotty alder wood & I just wasn’t loving it with all the different wood tones. We went with a black in the kitchen & I am loving it!

Going to round top was so fun & opened my eyes to what is out there. Antiques infuse so much character into a space & give it the perfect mix of new & old. 🖤
